Not every cyclist wants to push their body to the extreme, trying to fit on a bike that was designed for the pro peloton, so we went back to the drawing board for the Pinarello X and designed a new geometry that offers all-day comfort without renouncing our legendary performance DNA. MENDRISIO

The Mendrisio is an all-round endurance road bike. Named after the place where Eddy Merckx won his second world title in 1971, it is a very capable all-round road bike. At the time, Mendrisio was a battle between Merckx and his eternal rival Felice Gimondi. Gimondi attacked time and again, but could not shake off his younger rival. The race ended in a sprint, which Merckx won thanks to his explosiveness

That explosiveness is in the Mendrisio. It is a fast, performance-oriented and comfortable endurance bike made for long rides.
