The Pévèle St is the steel version of the Pévèle, with a carbon fork. Steel is more budget-friendly than carbon. It is durable, stiff and yet comfortable. Compared to aluminum, steel has more elasticity, resulting in more comfort. The cabling is not integrated. This also makes for a lower price tag, and facilitates maintenance.
The classic steel frame is an ode to the glorious past of Eddy Merckx bicycles. The team bikes from 7 Eleven, Telekom, Motorola and last but not least the classic Merckx – Molteni bike, these bikes left an indelible impression on many bicycle enthusiasts.
