The added crosswind control of the 4-spoke design makes it a top choice for pros like Ironman World Champion Kristian Blummenfelt, who often uses this as a front wheel combined with a CADEX Aero Disc in the rear. The superlight and stiff carbon rims are shaped by exhaustive wind-tunnel testing and data. The all-new R3-C40 aero hub with ceramic bearings reduces friction by up to 30 percent over the previous generation. And the 22.4mm wide hookless rims create a seamless integration between the rim and tubeless tire for improved rolling resistance, increased sidewall support and better grip.

FULLY OPTIMIZED FOR GRAVEL RIDES

The DRIFT, what's in the name, is the FFWD's first wheelset designed explicitly for gravel bikes. The rims with an inner width of 24mm make it possible to fit tires from 30 to 60mm wide. And of course, the DRIFT wheels are fully tubeless and ready out of the box.

Because wheels have to suffer a lot during gravel rides, the DRIFT is equipped with thicker spokes for more stability and durability. For the DRIFT we chose the DT Aero Comp straight pull, 24 pieces both front and rear. Yet the total weight of the DRIFT wheelset is only 1515 grams.
